Letter: We can't afford cost of 'reform' Kilroy supported

To the Editor:
While Rep. Mary Jo Kilroy "franked" us with $377,713 worth of taxpayer-funded communications in 2009, it turns out to be mere pocket change compared to her vote that gave us health care "reform."
Recently, we learned that Ohio taxpayers are on the hook for $1.45 billion because of the increased Medicaid enrollees that the "reform" will send us. According to USA Today, fewer doctors are accepting Medicare patients because of the cuts in reimbursement -- again, thanks to "reform."
And finally, the promise of our being able to keep our current coverage turns out to be yet another lie. According to Investors' Business Daily, "Internal White House documents reveal that 51 percent of employers may have to relinquish their current health care coverage by 2013 due to Obamacare. That number soars to 66 percent for small business employers."
Thanks Mary Jo, but no thanks. We simply can't afford the cost of the "reform" that she and her liberal colleagues are bringing to us.
