Job Fair To Feature 65 Employers & 4,400 Jobs
NBC4 Stivers (R-15th District) is organizing a job fair on the campus of The Ohio State University next Monday. He said the major employers like Huntington Bank, Cardinal Health and JP Morgan Chase will be on hand. In all, 65 employers will be at the job fair with 4,400 available jobs. Stivers admitted it's an unusual move for a politician. "Frankly the best thing we can do for folks right now is help connect them with a job. There are a lot of people unemployed about 9 percent unemployment and I'm working hard in Washington every day to fix the climate so that new businesses will form and people will invest in their businesses and create new jobs," Stivers said.
